# Censorship is a routing problem.

The Great Firewall, national DNS poisoning, an ISP blocklist, a regulator's spreadsheet of banned domains — every one of them does the same small thing. It declares a route invalid and hopes the traffic gives up.

It doesn't. This domain exists because `veilock.com` is blocked in places that would prefer you couldn't read this sentence, and blocking a name has never been the same thing as blocking a network. Everything you need is on this side of the wall.

you → veilock.com → null-routed

you → invalidroute.com → same files, still here

The point

## To every network that decided this route was invalid.

You can poison a DNS record. You can fingerprint a handshake and drop it. You can put a domain on a list and tell people it was for their own protection. What you cannot do is make the demand go away, and you cannot block a name you haven't thought of yet.

There is always another route. This is one of them, and registering another costs about fifteen dollars.

The internet is a human right, and so are the websites on it. The routing table should be touched for one reason only — something causing significant, concrete harm to other people — and never for political convenience. Block this domain and there will be another.

What's here

## Three reasons this domain is worth bookmarking.

Route open

### Veilock connection profiles

Veilock's OpenVPN profiles and the standard clients that read them, served from this host's own storage rather than fetched from veilock.com — so they work when that domain does not resolve.

Nubinity

### Hydra

Managed firewall and single sign-on for organisations that want the network edge and the identity layer run by one team instead of three vendors.

Veilock

### Vortex

Network-level ad, tracker and malware filtering at the DNS layer, covering every device on the connection — including the ones that cannot run a blocker.
