For as long as blocking continues, there will be a reachable route to our software. This domain is one. It will not be the last one.
Our position
The internet is a human right. So are the websites on it.
A right to connect that comes with a list of approved destinations is not a right. It is a permission, granted by whoever holds the list, revocable the moment you become inconvenient to them. Access to the network and access to what is on the network are the same right, and separating them is the oldest trick in the book.
The line
The routing table is not a political instrument.
There is one defensible reason to reach into routing and take something off the network: it is causing significant, concrete harm to other people. Malware command-and-control. Active fraud infrastructure. Material that documents the abuse of children. That list is short, it is about harm rather than opinion, and everyone serious already agrees on it.
Everything past that line is somebody deciding what adults are allowed to know. Not harm — embarrassment. Not safety — control. A news site that reported the wrong thing. A messenger the authorities cannot read. An encyclopedia. A VPN provider whose only offence is making the other blocks stop working.
We do not accept that second category, we will not help anyone build it, and we are not neutral about it. Veilock exists because of it.
To the people running the filters
You are going to lose this one.
Not because your engineering is bad. Some of it is genuinely impressive, and the people who built it are good at their jobs. You will lose because you have taken on a structurally impossible position, and you already know it.
You have to block every route. We have to find one. You are defending a list; a list is finite and the space of names is not. You spend months on detection and we spend an afternoon and fifteen dollars on a registrar. Every time you take a domain off the board, the people who needed it learn that you did — and nothing radicalises an ordinary person faster than discovering the wall was built for them personally.
So: block this domain. We expect you to, eventually. There will be another one, and the files will be on it, and the people who need them will find it — because they always do, and because we will make sure of it. That is the whole game, and it does not end with you winning.

We will not build the other side of this
Nubinity sells filtering — Hydra for organisations, Vortex for individuals. Both are tools a customer points at their own network, for their own reasons. We will not supply a national filtering programme, and we do not want that business.
We keep no logs to hand over
The strongest guarantee against being compelled to identify someone is not having the records in the first place. Veilock keeps no traffic history, and publishes a warrant canary and transparency report.
We will say which countries
Our country guides name the governments doing this and describe what they block, plainly and with sources. That is not comfortable and it is not meant to be.
If you are reading this from behind one
You are not doing anything wrong.
Wanting to read the news, message your family privately, or look something up without it being recorded is not subversion. It is the baseline that everyone outside the wall takes for granted, and you are entitled to it too.
Be sensible about the law where you actually are — we are not the ones who bear that risk and we will not pretend otherwise. But do not let anyone tell you the wanting was the problem.
